X Factor star and local hero James Williams is set to thrill guests at this year's prestigious Mayor's Ball.

Llechwen Hall in Llanfabon has been chosen as the location for the charity fundraiser, which this year has a Black and White theme.

Arrive at the venue to be greeted by a champagne Buck's Fizz on arrival, mingling with other guests before enjoying a four-course meal that includes a bottle of red and white wine on the table.

After tucking into the delicious menu, sit back and prepare to be entertained by Pontypridd's James Williams before dancing the night away at the disco.

All proceeds from the evening go to the Mayor's Charity Appeal, which this year is supporting Help for Heroes, Macmillan Cancer Support and Diabetes UK Cymru.
